Who owns Hags Honey Skincare?
Colleen Hagarty and Gerard Hagarty are the owners of the business.
Why the name change?
We are entering into a new level of clients, and while Hags Honey was great when we were huge sellers of honey, we now manufacture Jordella Skincare, which is the names of our two grandchildren, Jordan and Ella.
Who makes the skincare?
Colleen does in her Lab at Tamborine. We now offer contract manufacturing, so if you want a product with your label and logo on it, just call and we can make any product/aroma you desire
How did the logo come about?
The Hag on the honey dipper is Colleen. She has been making lotions and potions for a while so it just became fitting to use her as the logo for Hags Honey Skincare and how unusual is this logo, it is one that attracts everyone as it is so different. However the new logo will be on the web shortly...
How did the business start?
Colleen is a (qualified) beekeeper and at one stage had 70 hives, but sold the bulk of the hives, the truck and the automatic equipment. Some years ago, whilst her sister Jann was helping her extract the honey from the hives, she had noticed how good her hands and skin was feeling and asked how hard it would be to incorporate this into Colleen’s range of skincare she had started to formulate and manufacture… hence Hags Honey (Jordella Skincare) was born.
